@ladyrawraw perspective.

Honestly, it’s scary living in Israel right now, but I 100% stand with Israel, and do not want to be anywhere else.  Five minutes from where I work, a Palestinian terrorist drove his car directly into a bus stop, killing one individual.  He then proceeded to exit his car and stab another individual.  Acts like this are happening daily.  In fact, more than 30 individuals have been murdered from terrorist attacks in Israel, in the last 13 days.  I know you are not being informed by the news stations in America, but I’m here to tell you it is truly scary what is happening here.  Humans are behaving as animals and it is building rage within everyone.  Us Jews, and supports of life, must stand together and love one another, so we can fight these animals head on.  That is after all what they are doing.  Stabbing us!!!!!

Remarkable that one side of the leaf is one color and the other side is another color. Maybe natures way of teaching us there is more than one way to view a situation....also telling us to slow down and appreciate the changes going on around us. Finally also teaching us that there is something bigger than us in the world who is busy painting the leaves for us..... Jeff Auerbach

Today, my dad posted the picture above.  I resopnded, “Amen! So beautiful dad. It’s interesting, because when I read the beginning, all I could think about was the Israeli-Palestinian Conflct. But by the end, you had me remembering, that it’s all coming from Hashem. The Holiest of Holies, is going to protect us. This is all part of his plan. The Machiach is on his way. You know, the school I’m working in was built hundreds of years ago, by the Bucharian Community in Israel, for the “Mashiach.” At the time, it was probably a synagogue. Anyway, on a side note, my personal tagline for my business, Briah Living Food is, “The way to the Mashiach, is through his stomach.” Well @Mashiach, this is a personal call to you, “You’ve got yourself a Gourmet Chef Raw Raw waiting to cook for you. Can you please come home?”

To anyone reading this, can you please reply to this post or shoot me an e-mail at ladyrawraw9@gmail.com with an update of your life.  It’s helpful to read about, other happy, and real things happening in the world.

I Love You, and thank you for your support,

  1. Hi Julie. I am reading this! I read your emails when you write them in English!

    My days are long and repetitive. I’m up at sunrise exercising the dog, often at the beach. Then I have days of glassblowing, dissecting cats, memorizing body parts, volunteering in hospitals, studying, studying, studying. I eagerly visit my mailbox because I’m awaiting news from grad schools. Summer will not freaking end. It’s 80-90 degrees always and I don’t have AC. My social life has taken a hit, but now social experiences are more nourishing because they are few and far between. Dina is a great support and a source of happiness…so is Octavius. Mama’s healthy and doing fine, we’re going to her house for thanksgiving, not sure if Ben is going to come too. It’s been 3 years since dad passed. I’m teaching 4 classes in hebrew school, including cooking, leadership development, and 4th grade hebrew.

    That turned into a bit of a journal entry – but it’s a snapshot nonetheless.
