My first attempt at making #spelt #foccacia
All tips welcome 🙂
2 c spelt flour
1 c #coconut #flour
2 tsp dry active yeast
Pinch coarse sea salt
Sift ingredients above together
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
1.5 c warm water
Hollow out the center of the dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients and mix with hand for 15 seconds. Coat a bowl with olive oil, place the ball of dough into the bowl, and place bowl into a plastic grocery sized bag. Let dough rise (double in size, about 2 hours) near a warm place. Kneed dough quickly and let rise again.
Remove dough and form into s rolls. Garnish with olive oil and drag herbs, coarse black pepper and sea salt. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 30-45 minutes, until golden brown.
