קשת עצובה הקטנה – little sad rainbow

This post goes out to all the little ones out there. Nieces and nephews of mine, Henry, Ryan, Lucy, Noah, Roni, Karter and Kam; this one goes out to you!

[My first children’s book]

A little girl sat on a park bench. This is what she saw;

Today I saw my first sad rainbow 😦

The sunshine, shined his little light, through my water bottle, and made two small rainbows. The smaller of the two, looking like his meeker little self. The larger looking a bit more gloom. 😦

“Why is that rainbow sad?” She pondered. “Is it something I’ve done?”

The little girl pondered this notion for a while. The birds chirped their chirping, and the sun began to set.

The sun was about to go away, and the little girl looked directly into his light.

Below the sun, was a magnificent rainbow. He (the sun) was happy again. 🙂

Love Always,
Aunt JuJu

  2. Julie – two questions: (1) Do you call Robbie “Roni”? and (2) where is the picture of the happy rainbow?

    Sincerely,

    1. Hello Dear Jason- yes, Robbie’s hebrew name is Roni and 2, When ahe was walking away from the sun, she turned around and looked directly at the sun, and saw the rainbow. There was no way the camera could capture the picture. aunt JuJu will find markers and draw one soon 🙂

      1. I refuse to tell my children a story that suggests they look directly at the sun. Didn’t mom ever teach you that can make you go blind?
