A new wave of enlightenment is upon us. I can feel it.
I recently finished reading the book The Places that Scare You: A Guide to Fearlessness in Difficult Times by Pema Chodron
Pema is an amazing author, with wisdom I feel so blessed to have learned, at such a young age. I have encountered many individuals in my life, all of whom attempt to teach me a lesson. I’m sure everyone has felt, at one point or another, that they had just received some very important information. Well, I truly believe, from this day forth, my life will never be the same.
I believe, universal oneness, is the underlying theme in this book. I breathe in: the fear of being alone, that I am alone, for myself and anyone else in the universe who has ever felt that way. I breathe out: peace and harmony to every cell in my body, and the bodies of those who need to feel peace and harmony. I breathe in: the gratitude I feel for having a roof over my head, food in my stomach, and the family of champions, for myself and anyone sharing similar feelings. I breathe out: positive, loving vibrations, into myself, and to the entire universe.
What is your underlying fear? The one that has prevented you, up until you finish reading this blog, from moving forward in your life?
What are you grateful for? What energies do you want to send into the universe?
Every interaction, between two individuals, or things, involves an exchange of energy. Energy is constantly flowing through us all. I walk into a coffee shop, and the woman behind the counter asks me what I would like to order. My body tenses up a little because I don’t yet know what I want, then I ask a question like, “does this have milk?” and feel her energy toward me shift, so the energy in my body again, tenses up a little, because now I’m being judged, by some woman, who knows nothing about me. I order my drink, sit down, open my book, and learn to focus in on the feelings of the energy flowing through my body. Every second the energy in my body is changing, and it is my responsibility, in order to evolved, to allow myself to FEEL, truly feel, my own energy.
Look at yourself in the mirror. I mean REALLY, get as close to the mirror, and look yourself in the eyes. (If you get directly up to the mirror, nose touching the mirror and all, and you focus on your eyes, you will see your third eye. If you stare into that, you can see the working of your eyeball. I saw this tonight for the first time, and I am absolutely fascinated by the human eye, and the energy and life mirrored back at me). What does your body feel physically, when you look at yourself? Ok, maybe it’s too soon to feel yourself, so what happens when you think about the annoying neighbor on your street? Did you feel an energy flow through you? Let that energy go from beginning to end, and you have just evolved. You are no longer the same person you were 15 seconds ago.
Welcome to the future!
